In news that will surprise (Drumroll, puhleeze…) absolutely no one, E! cameras will roll when Kim Kardashian ties the knot with NBA giant Kris Humphries in Monceito, CA later this month.
Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event will air as a two-part TV special this October. The couple got engaged in May after about six months of dating and E! promises a program that “goes inside the glitz, glamour and romance of Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries’ wedding extravaganza.”
“Follow the bride, groom and entire Kardashian clan every step of the way, from the lavish wedding planning to the fabulous parties to the highly anticipated big day when Kim and Kris say, ‘I do,’” E! said in a news release.
The news, announced by the cable network on Wednesday, comes just a few days after Kim revealed that Kardashian family friend Vera Wang — wedding dress designer-to-the stars — will be designing the gown she’ll wear on her big day.
“I am so excited to reveal that Vera Wang is my wedding dress designer. Vera has been a close family friend for a long time and we had talked about this moment for years, so when it came to picking my wedding dress designer she was the first person I thought of. No one designs gowns the way she does!” Kim blogged this week.
She won’t be the first Kardashian to choose a wedding gown by Vera Wang; Little sis Khloe also wore a Vera Wang dress when she married Lamar Odom in 2009.
