An unidentified woman is the owner of a spankin’-new Apple iPod Touch after she correctly predicted the date of Amy Winehouse’s death.
The “gift” of sorts comes courtesy of the controversial website WhenWillAmyWinehouseDie.com. Devoted Goss Gawkers will recall that the site set off a firestorm when it launched in 2007 with the sole purpose of speculating about the notorious addict’s “inevitable” death.
“Amy is on her way out and as the world is profiting from this decline we thought it only fair that you should profit from it too. Guess her final breath and be crowned Mr. Or Mrs. Death. Winner will be rewarded with a iPod Touch,” site organizers wrote on the front page.
Fast forward four years…Shockwaves vibrated through the Music World when Amy was found dead (of a cause yet to be determined) in her London apartment on the afternoon of Saturday, July 23.
