If you haven’t already heard (Um, as if!), Kim Kardashian is getting married to NBA hoopster Kris Humphries in exactly 18 days. And while the media-hungry reality-TV star hasn’t given too many details about the big day away (ridiculous gift registry aside), Kimmy is spilling the deets about her gown. On Monday, the buxom socialite confirmed that family friend Vera Wang has been tipped to design the dress she’ll wear when she exchanges vows with Humphries in Monceito, CA on Saturday, Aug. 20.

Kim took to her blog yesterday to break the big news, writing: “I am so excited to reveal that Vera Wang is my wedding dress designer. Vera has been a close family friend for a long time and we had talked about this moment for years, so when it came to picking my wedding dress designer she was the first person I thought of. No one designs gowns the way she does!”

Kim won’t be the first Kardashian to choose a wedding gown by Vera; her little sis Khloe also wore a Vera Wang dress when she married Lamar Odom in 2009.

Meanwhile, Vera can’t contain her excitement about Kim’s upcoming nuptials.

“What a glorious moment. I am so thrilled to be dressing Kim for her wedding to Kris Humphries,” Wang told E! News. “Kim and I often spoke of creating a fantasy wedding gown,” the designer added. “I’m so excited. As a friend of the Kardashian/Jenner clan, I wish the engaged couple all the joy and happiness in the world.”

We haven’t been this excited about a dress since Princess Catherine stepped out in Alexander McQueen. Can’t wait to see pics!
