A rite of passage.

Jennifer Hudson attends the release party for her album "I Remember Me," in New York City in Hervé Léger by Max Azria.

Darlings, it is written in "The Book of Celebrity Fashion" that:

"Whereupon a female celebrity previously in the double digit sizes for anything longer than a pregnancy, finds herself, whether through drug use, eating disorder, surgery, or their role as spokesperson for a weight loss program, suddenly a size 2 or smaller, said female celebrity will be required to wear the tightest possible Hervé Léger dress in order to show off her accomplishments."

As it is written, so it shall come to pass.

We predicted it because it's true whenever anyone loses a significant amount of weight and transforms their body; male or female, celebrity or nobody: it takes at least a year for them to figure out that skin-tight clothing isn't always the best idea. Not that we think she looks bad here, but she is following a somewhat predictable path. Still, it's a great little dress and at least she's not making the mistake of wearing something that doesn't fit her correctly. Could have done without the too-obvious weave and the fuchsia lipstick, but there's no arguing she's IN here.
