“Material Girl” is the youth clothing brand which has been produced by Madonna and her daughter Lourdes for a few seasons in a row. The brand has become so successful that the mother and daughter are now thinking seriously about the production of their own makeup and cosmetics line.
The “Material Girl” brand is anticipating big changes with the coming of Kelly Osbourne as an advertising person. After Taylor Momsen had been fired from the position and Ozzy Osbourne’s daughter had been appointed, the sales rate grew considerably. Kelly’s employment has made the brand truly popular with teenage girls.
Following this success, the founders of the brand, Madonna and her 14-year-old daughter Lourdes, have made a resolute decision to expand their business. Henceforth, the “Material Girl” brand will produce collections of clothes, underwear, and outer clothing, as well as a makeup and cosmetics line.
Lourdes told the WWD edition that she had really liked working on makeup and cosmetics. It was very exciting for her to create new fragrances for body products and lip gloss. The names for new fragrant body care products are more than creative: Wicked Watermelon, Coquettish Fruit, Midnight Magnolia, or Sinful Sugar. Perhaps, young people will really enjoy these unbelievable names. Lourdes says that she has invented them by herself.
The new “Material Girl” underwear, as well as the makeup and cosmetics line, will appear just before the new school season. Some departments stores in the USA are said to start selling the new products next week.

You may have missed an invitation to the upcoming Kim Kardashian wedding/Kris Humphries wedding.
People reports it arrived in its own box and is adorned with hundreds of jet black hematite crystals. There’s lots of fancy script announcing the couple’s names and the date — August 20th — as well as stating the affair will be black-tie (you have to tell rich people that or they show up in wifebeaters and flipflops).
The little easel-ready piece of art was designed by “invitationers” Lehr & Black. According to the client list on its site, L&B has also worked with Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen, Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey, Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, Eva Longoria and Tony Parker, and probably a few other couples who didn’t wind up getting divorced later on.
The upcoming Kardashian/Humphries wedding will reportedly cost upwards of $10-20 million and of course be televised on the E! channel, home of the insipid “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
Kim has said she wants to out-do the recent royal wedding, so does that mean she’s also asked guests to donate money to charity in lieu of gifts as William and Kate did? Don’t be silly. That would be classy and tasteful!
So if you’d like to buy the happy couple a present, you’re welcome to get one of the items on their super-pricey registry. How about some Hermes dinnerware? Plates cost about $100, cereal bowls are $155 and cups and saucers are $225 per set. They’re asking for 18 of each.
Because, you know, it’s so hard for a multi-millionaire couple just starting out.

The News of the World phone hacking activities that have been going on since 2005 appear to have embraced Kate Middleton and her family members. According to The Telegraph, Kate and Prince William have been approached by police officers in charge of the hacking scandal investigation.
Prince William, now to be addressed to as the Duke of Cambridge, was the one to assist the police in the course of the first investigation six years ago when he, Prince Henry and a few close friends fell victim of voicemail tampering. At that time the investigation didn’t go any further.
As allegations of phone hacking are piling up, the London tabloid that was in existence over a century and a half, is closed down, its several executives are under arrest, and its owner media mogul Rupert Murdoch has been called to Parliament to account for hacking activities.
Guy Pelly, a close friends of both Prince Henry and Prince William, has recently sued the News of the World as another alleged victim of phone tampering. There is a strong belief that the whole Middleton family may have their phones hacked – and have been for quite a while.
The Telegraph quotes a source connected with the investigation who said that telephone hacking practice was “more widespread” than it can be imagined even back in 2005 with many people targeted “at all levels,” so it’s quite a logical assumption that everyone around the royal family has been subjected to voicemail tampering; the Middletons are highly unlikely to have been left out.

Makeup artists from one of the most authoritative celebrity websites have made an attempt to analyze makeup of the new princess Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, by writing an “open letter”to her.
The princess is now indeed in the focus of attention. Kate Middleton’s style is, by the way, still liked by the overwhelming majority of professionals and ordinary people, but there are doubts as to her make-up.
Makeup artists from the Redcarpet-fashionawards website write that the main problem with the princess’s makeup is rouge and black eyeliner. Moreover, her makeup style is sometimes called a shame. The princess is given the following advice:
- Give up the liner. Such a heavy liner is appropriate only for Halloween. For other occasions, especially formal receptions and dinners, you need a different style. The mistake is that the white pencil is visible and it makes the eyeliner rough. If you use an eye pencil, you should line the lower eyelid a shade lighter than the upper one. “A black eyeliner is too heavy for your delicate features, Princess”, the artists write. They offer a brown pencil.
- You shouldn’t apply rouge so heavily.Just one stroke of the brush, no more!
- “Dear Duchess, give up 90% of your make-up”, the authors of the letter plead. They believe that the make-up Catherine has on, makes her look older. So they suggest switching to a nude makeup.

In a bid to support Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin in a presidential vote, an online campaign has been launched urging young women to support him by taking off their clothes.
Called ‘Putin's Army’, it features a video of a blonde student called Diana who struts along Moscow's streets in high heels and a black suit before scrawling "I will tear my clothes off for Putin" on a white top in red lipstick and starting to undo her clothes, reports the Telegraph.
Inviting girls to strip off for Putin for the chance of winning an iPad2, the campaign comes ahead of the March 2012 presidential vote. Putin was president between 2000-2008 before handing the reins to his protege Dmitry Medvedev.
Widely seen as Russia's key decision-maker, Putin may return to the Kremlin next year.
"The goal: For Putin to be president!" said a statement on its page on social networking site vkontakte.ru/armiaputina.
It is unclear who orchestrated the campaign, which was posted on the blog of parliamentarian Kirill Shchitov, from Putin's ruling United Russia party.
While Harry has moved on from South African beauty Chelsy Davy, older brother Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton have also moved- from their cottage in Wales to their new residence in London, according to People magazine. Their apartment, located inside Kensington Palace, is a small affair with two bedrooms and one bathroom and will offer the couple a place to crash during visits to London as well as the ability to mingle with pals. However, the arrangement is a short-term one, a royal source informs. The royal pair will occupy a larger space when their focus shifts from their private country life to a more high-profile one in the British capital. The future king of England and his wife had a few days in the flat before heading back to Anglesey, North Wales. The prince plans to be based in Wales for the majority of the time during his career as an RAF Search and Rescue pilot. William wants to be promoted to the rank of captain in the RAF so he will be permitted to have the main controls of the Sea King helicopter on a regular basis. In the meantime, his wife is giving consideration to which causes she will embrace as a royal. Having charmed everyone in Canada and California, he and Kate, now both 29, have been enjoying a normal routine as a married couple. They went to the movies last weekend and saw the Hollywood film Bridesmaids. We seriously wish we were in that theater!

This being Poko Pano's fourth outing at the Miami Fashion Week, the designer continues to impress with her innovative sexy bikini styles. Unlike last year's structured prints, the 2012 collection has more abstract prints with a few of them with delicate leaf prints and a stand out one-piece swim suit in snake print. Poptastic quartet The Black Eyed Peas have announced that they are taking an “indefinite break” from recording. Fergie made the announcement to a chorus of boos from the audience during a show in Staffordshire, UK earlier this week. The show was apparently “very special” as it would be the “last time we’re going to be in England for a long time.”
“We want you to know that we love you and thank you for the support you’ve given from the beginning,” she said. “…This isn’t going to be the last time you’ll see us.”
The split will be similar to the break the band took between 2005 and 2009.
“The @Bep will take a break after the beginning,” Will.i.a, Tweeted. “Just like we did from [albums] Monkey Business to The E.N.D… but it doesn’t mean we stop creating…”

The Duchess looked every inch the royal, wearing a circa 1920's cream-and-navy knitted dress in cabled pattern and low hem by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. The dress was paired with navy Prada heels, muted eye colors, pink blusher, and lipstick. She wore her usually left-down hair pulled back in a ponytail, which went well with the sailor style of the dress; the pink hues gave her a youthful summer glow. While the dress was a demure choice, both in color and style, her high heels gave it just the right edge. William wore a matching navy suit with light blue shirt and purple tie. Could the guy get any hotter? As if in answer to that question, he took part in a dragon boat competition with his equally athletic spouse. The two led opposing teams manned by local crew members for a PEI boat race on Dalvay Lake. Quizzed before the race as to who is going to win, a confident prince said, "We are. Of course!" He kept his word, as his team finished ahead of his wife's by one third of a boat length. William apologize to Kate, just gave her a warm embrace as they got off the jetty. "No chivalry!" said the future monarch. Later, the prince performed a demonstration of "waterbirding", a technique developed by Canadians to land a helicopter on water. His first time, he was helped by members of the Canadian Armed Forces and the second and third times William took command of the aircraft himself. An insider was quoted as saying he would be the envy of men back at his Anglesey, Wales base, where he works as a Search and Rescue pilot. We don't know about them, but we definitely envy Kate for getting that hug. =)

Among the people who came over to Wimbledon on Wednesday there were some royal family connections. The most conspicuous of them was Pippa Middleton, whose date for the tournament was her ex-beau Alex Loudon – and the way they were getting along there was little “ex” in it.
Another one who put in an appearance – although a much less conspicuous one – was Chelsy Davy, who is into the fifth year of her sporadic relationship with Prince Harry. She was enjoying her eyeful of tennis and a salmon lunch in the members’ enclosure unattended, the fact that may or may not have any relevance to the rumor that says she had been jilted by her eminent boyfriend.
The rumor has originated with the UK’s The Sun that published the news of Prince Harry’s alleged change of heart. The tabloid quoted an inside source who revealed that the 26-year-old prince fell for Florence Brudenell-Bruce, who is “fun, blonde and good-looking.”
Brudenell-Bruce, an offspring of war hero James Thomas Brudenell, seventh Earl of Cardigan, is well-off as well as an upcoming lingerie model. So far there is no comment from either the Palace or the would-be lawyer on Harry’s alleged shift of favors.
An observer told Us Weekly that at the tournament Chelsy, 25, was approached by an unsuspecting waitress who asked her if she had seen Pippa and her beau. Chelsy, unruffled, just smiled at her and pointed to the couple sitting at a table.
