One-time American Idol winner Lee Dewyze is getting hitched. The 25-year-old crooner popped the question to his girlfriend, model-actress Jonna Walsh, 26, on a private yacht at Disney World in Orlando last week.

“I’m excited,” says DeWyze, whose July 16 proposal included champagne and a sky aglow with the booming of fireworks.

Why Disney World?

“Jonna is a Disney freak,” Lee explains. “They were playing love songs on the boat and I got down on my knee and asked her. I had a speech prepared but it all went out the window so I just asked her. She started crying and I said, ‘Is that a yes?‘”

The pair met last October, when DeWyze cast Walsh to star in his “Sweet Serendipity” music video. They’re planning a Fall 2012 wedding.

Per usual, the reps are staying tight-lipped, but The Goss Wire is abuzz with whispers that Academy Award nominee Carey Mulligan is engaged to marry her folk rocker boyfriend, Marcus Mumford.

Eat your heart out, Shia!

Mulligan, 26, and the 24-year-old Mumford & Sons singer first met during a concert in Nashville shortly after Mulligan’s sudden split from her former live-in beau (and Wall Street 2 co-star Shia LaBeouf). They’ve been dating for five months. Carey and Marcus even enjoyed a romantic weekend at the Babington House Hotel in Somerset earlier this month; that’s when the musician is believed to have popped the question.

A spywitness at the hotel tells The Sun: “Carey looked like the cat who had got the cream. She was wearing a beautiful diamond ring and didn’t seem to mind who saw it. They were stuck to each other like glue. She was doing most of the talking and he was hanging on her every word.”

Kristin Cavallari and Chicago Bears' Jay Cutler have called off their engagement, reports People magazine.

The couple had planned to wed in Spring and Cavallari had recently bought a Monique Lhuillier wedding gown.

The 24-year-old former Hills star was spotted without her engagement ring on Saturday at The Beverly, an L.A. Lounge.

"She was hanging out at a table with Nicky Hilton and Alessandra Ambrosio," a source tells People. "She was telling friends how they called off the engagement."

According to a E! News source close to the couple, Cutler pulled the plug on their 10 month relationship on Saturday.

"Jay got cold feet," says the source. "Kristin is stunned."

"She got dumped," a source told People magazine. "She's absolutely devastated. She can't believe this is happening."

Ironically, two weeks ago at the a Miami Swim Week Swim 2012, Kristin had told People magazine, "I am so happy and currently planning my wedding."

The couple had posted their wedding registry last week.

Last Saturday, Cavallari had celebrated her engagement with a party and after wards tweeted, "Thx to all my amazing friends for making my engagement party a blast last night!"

Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey got married Friday evening, July 15 on Necker Island.

The ceremony took place in front of just 35 friends and family, their reps told People magazine.

The couple reached their exotic wedding location on Tuesday. Their guests were flown to the location without being told that they would be attending a wedding.

"Nobody knew where they were going," Minnillo told People.

"Our wedding invitations were in the form of a plane ticket. We told them they were going away and the attire was 'island chic.' It was all very vague," said Lachey.

Minnillo wore a two-piece Monique Lhuillier dress - intricately embellished lace corset with rose and crystal detail, paired with a signature hand tufted skirt made of silk faille, reports People.

The wedding was filmed for airing on TV as TLC's wedding special titled Nick & Vanessa's Dream Wedding. The show premiers on July 30 from 9-11pm ET/PT.

Nick, 37, and Vanessa, 30, started dating in 2006 and got engaged in November.

On June 21 the couple announced that they will have a TV wedding.

Nick's wedding to Jessica Simpson was televised on MTV's Newlyweds in October 2002. The couple announced their separation in December 2005.

Kate Moss’ best buddy Jo Wood reveled some of the cute things that Kate Moss used to do before marriage.

The 37-year old supermodel, who married rocker Jamie Hince earlier this month, used to enjoy evenings at Jo Wood’s home so that she could try on the 52-year-old model’s huge collection of vintage garments.

Jo said, “I’ve known Kate Moss for years, she used to come over to the house. We'd get a bit drunk, go up to the attic and just dress up. She'd go, 'Oh my god! When did you wear this?' I'd go, 'Oh that's 90s... that's 80s.”

Jo also wished Kate best of love and everything for her married life.

Pop open the bubbly: Lady Antebellum crooner Hillary Scott has announced her engagement drummer Chris Tyrell, the band’s drummer. The pair are planning a wedding after Tyrell popped the question in Tennessee over the holiday weekend.

“Chris proposed exactly the way I’ve always dreamed,” the ecstatic “Need You Now” singer told PEOPLE Tuesday. “Our families were close by, but it was just us out on a beautiful deck overlooking a lake in East Tennessee. We had just been on a hike and — in our workout clothes — he hit the knee. We feel so blessed by God that he sent us each other, and we are looking so forward to forever together.”

The brunette met her now-fiance, who reportedly inspired the band’s hit, “Just A Kiss,” while touring the country with Tim McGraw in 2010. They’ve been an item ever since. Hillary wasn’t too bashful too boast about her fiance’s romantic side during an interview with South Dakota radio station Kickin’ Country 100.5 FM in February.

“I had a really good Christmas present from my boyfriend. He planned this whole afternoon/evening. At that end of the night I was like, ‘This is someone who truly cares and knows me so well,” Scott said. “We were in Saratoga, New York, actually, which there’s a main street in Saratoga that’s absolutely beautiful and there’s cute little shops so we went in and out of those and then went to a really nice dinner…To take the cake he got a private carriage ride through this beautiful national park,” she continued. “Like, a horse-drawn carriage. It was awesome. It was so sweet!”
