American Idol alum Pia Toscano, the Queens, NY native at the center of last season’s most shocking dismissal, has signed a recording contract with Interscope Records. (Worst kept secret in pop? Perhaps) Her first single, “The Time,” will be released on July 12, just a week after Pia hits the road on this year’s Idols Live! Tour, which kicks off at the Maverik Center in Salt Lake City this evening.
