Children woke as schizophrenic 'stabbed father 82 times in his own home'

A father of three was hacked to death by a schizophrenic stranger while his children slept just yards away, a jury heard today.

Daniel Quelch was stabbed more than 80 times and a serrated knife was used to cut his throat in a bloodbath killing which happened as he slept.

Paranoid schizophrenic Benjamin Frankum then gave his victim's children cola and yoghurt to keep them calm.

The 25-year-old later told police that he had been 'sent by MI5' to kill Mr Quelch but later changed his story, claiming gangsters committed the crime.

A jury heard how Frankum - who was earlier declared unfit to enter a plea due to his mental condition - got into Mr Quelch's mother's bungalow in Maidenhead, Berkshire, at approximately 7am on August 23 last year. [23, August (8), at 7am, year before on the same date as Madonna kicked off her tour]

No link between the killer and his alleged victim has ever been discovered.

The court heard that Mr Quelch was asleep with his two-year-old son Charlie by his side when Frankum began the attack.

It continued throughout the house and was also witnessed by Mr Quelch's four-year-old daughter Molly and her friend, Lucy Rogers, who was in the house for a sleepover.

Before being sworn in, the jury of seven men and five women sitting at Reading Crown Court, was told to expect to see graphic pictures of the aftermath of the killing in which blood was splattered up walls and pooled on carpets and the kitchen floor, where Mr Quelch eventually died.

Prosecuting, Nigel Daly told jurors: 'Two knives were used. The attack was finished with a serrated knife.

'It was used on the throat of Mr Quelch who, at that stage, was lying on the floor of the kitchen.

'It was used quite severely.'

The court heard how Frankum then took cans of cola to the three children and then called an ambulance - not for the victim but to receive attention for his injured hand, which he had sliced open during the crazed killing. [typical mind controlled frenzied killing]

Shortly afterwards, Barbara Quelch returned home from an early morning dog walk and was confronted by Frankum, who was wearing only his underwear. [post-killing programmed ritual]

Mr Daly went on: 'As Mrs Quelch pulled up to the gate she could see someone moving in the kitchen.

'Her first reaction was she thought it was her son, Daniel.

'But the person was not Daniel. Moreover it appeared this man was covered in blood.

'He was wearing only boxer shorts. Blood was on his hands, his face and his chest and he was carrying a tea towel.'

Frankum then allegedly told Mrs Quelch not to worry as he was a police officer.

However, she remained in her car, dialled 999 and Frankum was eventually arrested.

Before police arrived, paramedics - responding to Frankum's own 999 call - arrived and the mental patient was said to have told them: 'You don't want to go in there. There is stuff in there you don't want to see.

'There is a bloke in there. I stabbed him in the neck about 10 times, he wouldn't die.'

The court also heard how Frankum was supposed to be staying in shared semi-independent housing in Littlehampton, West Sussex, where care workers were supposed to hand him medication.

However it was up to Frankum to take the drugs himself and he went missing on August 20.

Mr Daly closed his harrowing account of Mr Quelch's death, saying that the victim's two-year-old son had been asleep in the bed with his father when he was attacked.

Charlie was found spattered with blood on his clothes and face.

The prosecutor told the jury that Frankum received cuts to his hands as the blood-soaked knife had slipped as he repeatedly stabbed the victim.

Tests taken after his arrest showed that none of the prescribed drugs to control his paranoid schizophrenia were in his system - showing that he had not taken his medication that day. [stopping taking powerful psychotropic drugs can be as effective in mind control as actually drugging the person because the withdrawal symptoms can be just as bad as the actual effects of the drugs... making them easier to control than if they were still on them which their body would be used to.]

When emergency service workers arrived, Frankum was taken to Maidenhead Police Station where he was interviewed only briefly because of concerns over his mental state.

He was seen by a doctor and told her that he had been contacted by MI5 to do a job that morning.

The defendant was taken to Wexham Park Hospital, Slough, Berkshire, where he was seen by a consultant forensic psychiatrist and then sectioned under the Mental Health Act.

Forensic investigations after the case from blood spatter profiles showed that the two men had moved around the house together while the assault was taking place.

Mr Quelch's blood was on Frankum and Frankum's dog who he took with him to the house.

A mobile phone belonging to the defendant's mother, which he had taken from her house the night before, was also found at the Quelch home.

Mr Daly said the only thing he could not tell the jury was the motive for the attack.

'We cannot give you a motive as to why he did it,' he said.

'I am afraid that may be locked inside his head. [as if he has any clue, "locked" is certainly the right word for it though]

'He did it, you can be sure of that.

'In due course I will call the evidence before you to prove it.'

Frankum, whose address was given as Broadmoor Hospital, Crowthorne, faces a single charge of murdering Mr Quelch. Before being admitted to Broadmoor, he was living in Littlehampton, West Sussex.

The case continues.

An Orangina advert in which animals wearing tiny bikinis gyrate around poles has drawn complaints from viewers.

The 60 second advert for the soft drink centres around a love story between a doe and a bear, with a finale of shots of Orangina bottles exploding between the thighs of zebras and squirting on to the breasts of other animals.

The Naturally Juicy advert, created by a French ad agency, has attracted criticism from children's charities and equal rights groups. Claude Knights, director of children's charity Kidscape, said: "Orangina is a drink which is mainly aimed at children and young people, but this new advert places the product in a very sexualised and provocative context.

"The almost sinister portrayal of animals in an animation style filled with sexual innuendo leads to very mixed and confused messages."

She said the charity were worried that it was another example of using sexual images to sell products to children.

The Advertising Standards Agency (ASA) has received 147 complaints, after the commercial was first screened on August 1 on E4 during an episode of How to Look Good Naked. A spokesperson said they had not decided whether to investigate the advert, which is due to be shown post watershed throughout August.

The advert was based around the idea of "pulpeuse", which in French means both "containing pulp" and also "voluptuous" or "sexy".

Dr Pepper Snapple Group, which owns the brand, was unavailable for comment.

Tears streaming down her face, she is confronted by police - a teenage girl apparently planning to blow herself up in front of an Iraqi school.

The officers handcuffed her to a metal balustrade before moving in with extreme caution to uncover a vest full of explosives hidden under her colourful robe.

The dramatic scenes were captured on a video shot by the police.

The girl - thought to be around 15 years old - later said that she was given the bomb and told to wait outside the school for further instructions.

In the footage, she denies trying to stage a suicide attack, and appears dazed, even drugged. She gave her first name as Rania [Ra/Narnia] and said she was born in 1993.

Her exchange with the police offered a rare glimpse at a teenager allegedly recruited by insurgents.

However, it was not clear to what extent her answers were given out of fear - of the police, or even of her own family.

Police in Baqouba, where the girl was caught on Sunday, said she was fitted with the vest by female relatives of her husband, whom she married five months ago.

They also claimed that the girl's father was a suicide bomber, and her mother and one of her sisters were later arrested.

However, U.S. sources said that the girl turned herself in after being hooked up to the explosives against her will.

The police footage begins with Rania standing on the street. Her arms are already behind her back, where they have apparently been tied by an officer in an attempt to restrain her.

A policeman is shown opening her robe, and later frames show her wearing what appears to be a suicide vest, containing about 33lb of explosives.

The officer said the girl led the police back to where she was given the explosives and that they found a second bomb belt in an empty apartment in the Baqouba area.

He also said the girl's mother and sister were arrested, but it was not clear why.

Some female bombers may have been motivated by revenge, and U.S. commanders believe al Qaeda in Iraq is increasingly seeking to exploit women unable to deal with the grief of losing husbands, parents, children and others to the violence.

The U.S. military said that in Diyala, some 200 female volunteers recruited by the U.S.-backed group Daughters of Iraq are helping search women at checkpoints.

Many Iraqi women wear long robes, ideal for covering bulky suicide vests, and Iraqi policemen hesitate to pat them down at checkpoints because of cultural taboos.

The police footage of the girl's arrest begins with her standing on a Baqouba street, next to a metal structure.

She insists she doesn't know the women who gave her the vest.

'I swear to Allah that I do not know them. They were strangers,' she is heard saying, though she later says that 'one of the women's names was maybe Fadhila and the other was called Widad.'

When pressed to say whether she knew the woman who put the vest on her, she replied: 'Yes.'

Police asked if she intended to blow herself up.

'No, no, they put it on me and told me to take it off at home,' she said. 'They did not tell me to explode myself.'

A policeman then asks: 'If so, why didn't you disconnect" the detonator?

The girl says: 'I did not disconnect it (because) maybe it fell from me.'

A policeman standing next to her could be heard saying that when she was picked up, she was initially unable to talk because she had been given drugs.

Footage from another interrogation session appears to contradict this testimony, with Rania saying she was shown the vest's two detonators and told to press the second button if the first failed to work.

At one point, a policeman can be heard saying that when the girl was picked up, she was unable to talk because she had been given drugs.

The drama came as it was revealed that the number of women carrying out suicide attacks in Iraq has more than tripled in 12 months.

The number has gone from eight in 2007 to 29 this year, according to U.S. military officials.

They believe that Al Qaeda is increasingly exploiting women unable to deal with the grief of losing husbands, parents and children since the U.S. invasion in 2003.

Baqouba, where the girl was arrested, is the capital of the volatile eastern Diyala province and an Al Qaeda stronghold in Iraq. The area has seen some of the worst violence in the country.

The U.S. military said that in Diyala, some 200 female volunteers recruited by the U.S.-backed group Daughters of Iraq are now helping with checkpoint searches.

I stopped watching Middleman after the first episode which I covered it in this post, but I was compelled to download the latest one because of the name of it ("The Vampiric Puppet Lamentation") which includes vampires and puppets ["vampires" are essentially cannibals which is used in mind control and puppets are obviously]; I did not know it was about "Vlad the Impaler" specifically which was a personal synchronicity for me. As a standard kid (14ish) who was into his violent video games, Stephen King books etc I needed a suitably violent/warlike nickname for Counter-Strike and my online persona in general. And watching a History Channel documentary on Vlad the Impaler, that's what it became before evolving into "Vladdie" as Vlad was often not available [it's still my MSN name which I should change really]. I am only mentioning this because the episode (1x10) was constantly talking about "little Vladdie" and saying "Vladdie our little puppet" and such things [some blatant MK themes/symbolisms in this one, images to follow]. Thought it was an interesting synchronicity for me anyway.

Before I get going with screen caps from the episode; I'll use this opportunity to write about Vlad the Impaler, the real historical figure. It is interesting to note that they would make Vlad a ventriloquist's dummy considering Vlad's torturing techniques are still used (skinning people and such) today by intelligence agencies and other clandestine groups as part of mind control/brainwashing practises. As well as obviously quelling the elite's thirst for blood and debauchery in upper-class "parties" [more extreme versions of the Eyes Wide Shut sex ritual scenes and also Requiem For a Dream's final scenes "ass to ass!"; Vlad impaled people through the rectum] of the elite where mind controlled prostitutes (or anyone who would not be reported missing) are abused as they look on in a perverse frenzy.


Vlad's preferred method of torture was impalement, quote from wiki: "His method of torture was a horse attached to each of the victim's legs as a sharpened stake was gradually forced into the body. So Vlad is a puppet in Middleman, he was also probably mind controlled to an extent in reality (certainly made easier to control; becoming more suggestible through the trauma he endured as a boy). According to his biography; at age 5 he was initiated into the Order of the Dragon. The Order of the Dragon was "an elite chivalric order for selected royalty and nobility" and primarily flourished in Germany and Italy. Remember our (British people's) Queen is really German and I'm convinced that family is directly descended from Vlad Dracul's [it's all about ze bloodline, dragons are all over the City of London and other occult sanctuaries; note that the Order of the Garter also uses the 8 pointed star and dragon motifs, as do the Order of St. Vladimir and many of the other elite groups (as well as all the other usual symbolism)], which would fit nicely into the whole "The royal family are 8 foot lizards" belief system [images/synchs from the episode also support this, I'm pretty indifferent to the whole Reptilian issue, I would certainly not be surprised if they were literally Reptilian shapeshifters... but I highly doubt they are anything other than completely insane, 100% inbred human scum that need to be brought crashing down].


Back to Vlad and at age 5 he was initiated into said Order; I am assuming that this initiation involved all the twisted sexual and violent abuse that comes with being a part of these elite "illuminati" families [the more secretive an order/group, the more severe their initiation rituals are for obvious reasons]. More trauma was inflicted on him as a boy as his father gave him and his brother up as hostages to their sworn enemies at age 13; I'll quote wiki again: "These years were influential in shaping Vlad's character; he was often whipped by his Ottoman captors for being stubborn and rude. Here is where he learned his torture tactics." The abused becomes the abuser [this is programming, and works in non-conspiracy terms obviously with intergenerational abuse and whatnot]. He was programmed, and then released by the Turks as their literal puppet (mind controlled pawn, like most politicians today), this quote from wiki is too much: "To protect their political power in the region, the Ottomans invaded Wallachia and the Sultan put Vlad III on the throne as his puppet ruler." The world's a stage; we (the masses) will never see the director/puppeteer; only the actors/puppets are shown to the masses doing exactly what the puppeteer/director makes them do to benefit their clandestine agenda. Our third eye is not going to awaken, our consciousness is not going to suddenly expand as we approach 2012, there are no stargates to take us to other dimensions; the only thing I see happening is more death and destruction unless we wake up to the puppeteers controlling everything and bring the f*ckers down.
