[Some twisted Masonic humor for you today from the BBC (223|322 skull and bones, another Spooks: Code 9 episode has more skull and bones imagery so will post on that, after I watch the season opener of Bones tonight and see if that needs posting on), this is the kind of thing they get charged over... none of their actual colossal crimes throughout history.]

Masonic officials have been fined £100,000 over the death of an elderly woman after admitting a faulty window had been ignored for years.

Widow Leah Bell, 87, was found in the garden of a two-storey Victorian villa in Ravelston Park in Edinburgh, which is run as a care home. [Widow/Widow's Son freemasonry, Widow/Window, Princess Leah, Le/eL, Brotherhood of the Bell]

She had broken both her legs in a 22ft fall from a flat roof outside her room and died later in hospital. [22 master number]

She had put pillows under sheets, so staff thought she was still in bed.

An investigation decided there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death, fiscal Dev Kapadia told Edinburgh Sheriff Court.

But it was also revealed Mrs Bell had been able to prise open a window in her room, which staff at the Sir James McKay House Care Home thought was stuck fast with paint, and climb out onto the section of roof.

A charge was brought against Grand Master Sir Archibald Orr-Ewing [If that is your real name... probably is] and Grand Secretary David Begg in their roles as trustees and principal office bearers of the Grand Lodge of Antient Free and Accepted Masons of Scotland.

On Tuesday, they admitted a breach of the Health and Safety at Work Act.

They admitted failing to identify the need to fix window restrictors and failing to train employees to check window restrictors were in place which were not damaged and to replace or fix them immediately if they were damaged or missing.

Fining the Grand Lodge, Sheriff Gordon Liddle said: "This is a tragic set of circumstances where, because of an inexcusable failure to secure a window and a continued failure to realise it had not been secured, an old lady died."

Mrs Bell lived at the home for just two weeks before her death in 2006. [Wonder what happened to the last occupant ^^]

Bleeding heavily [There must be blood!]

On the night before the accident Mrs Bell, like other residents, had been regularly checked during the night.

The court heard that she was found lying outside shortly after 0600 BST on 10 March.

Paramedics found she was still conscious but cold and bleeding heavily from an open fracture.

She was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary but died just before midday.

Mr Kapadia said that during the investigation which followed it emerged that an inspection of the home in September 2002 had identified a problem with the windows.

The court heard that all the windows in the premises had been made safe, except for two which were of an older design. One of them was in the room where Mrs Bell came to stay.

Also don't buy into the "we had to do it to fight the communists", it's just as bullshit as the "War on Terror" excuse for doing anything (torture/mind control etc.) Imagine all the jet black CIA experiments Frank Olson knew about before they killed him ;s [also interesting how the CIA have perfected "suiciding" people]. An elderly couple are vowing to go to jail rather than pay the 2012 Olympics surcharge on their council tax bill.

Tom and Rita Glenister insist the £33.33 levy imposed on London homes to cover the cost of the London Games is unfair.

They will appear in court later this month after ignoring repeated demands for the Olympic charge from their local council.

If convicted they face up to three months in jail.

Mr Glenister, 78, a retired civil engineer who worked on the building of the Channel Tunnel, is determined to become the first 'Olympic martyr' after widespread concern about the cost of the Games.

He and his 76-year-old wife withheld the £33.33 charge from the first instalment of their £2,320 annual council tax bill.

'We have the money to pay this tax, but it is a point of principle,' he said from their home in Barnet, North London.

'Our Prime Minister has consistently told us the London Olympics will benefit the whole country but the only people paying directly for these Games are London council taxpayers.

'Why should Londoners alone pay for the Olympics? We are two old age pensioners who might not even be here in 2012.

'It's wrong for us to fund these hugely expensive stadiums and arenas that we might never visit.

'The Beijing Olympics were wonderful and our athletes did Britain proud by winning so many medals.

'But I didn't watch much of it on TV because I was on holiday and I won't be watching in 2012.

'There are thousands of people in London who feel the same way and they are now making their voices heard.

'But we are willing to go to prison on this issue.'

Mr Glenister, a second cousin of actor Philip Glenister, who starred in the Life on Mars TV series, is also angry about the rising cost of the London Olympics.

'These Games have never been properly costed and I believe it will be well over £10billion by the time we reach 2012,' he said.

'China have ploughed more than £20billion into hosting the Olympics and Britain is now expected to match those Games.

'That will mean only one thing - higher council tax bills and we are refusing to pay.'

Mr Glenister's stand follows recent assurances from London mayor Boris Johnson that the Olympics will not cost more than £9.3billion - nearly four times the estimate stated in the 2005 bid.

London taxpayers will contribute more than £1billion through a Greater London Authority precept, while £2billion will come from Lottery funding and £6billion from Whitehall.

Mr Glenister and his wife, a former probation officer, are due to appear before Hendon magistrates on September 16.

Their son, also Tom, said: 'It is their right to question any tax or law in this democracy without fear of persecution or incarceration.'

A spokesman for Tory-controlled Barnet Council said: 'Part of the council tax is a Greater London Authority precept to contribute towards the 2012 Olympics, which goes directly to the GLA.

'However, as a collecting authority, the council takes a strong approach to collecting any unpaid council tax and will use all available means to ensure residents pay the full amount for which they are liable.'

A giant spider has been spotted on the skyline of one of Britain's biggest cities - but arachnophobes need not fear. [Spiders used in mind control, as well as the symbolism of the web it creates, similar to fractured glass symbolism]

The huge insect spotted in Liverpool is in fact entirely mechanical and part of a new piece of street theatre organised to mark its year as Capital of Culture.

Weighing 37 tonnes [Crowley 777] and standing 50ft high, the spider is currently clinging to the side of Concourse Tower in the city.

The street theatre event is being staged by the same group of artists who brought London to a halt with their Sultan Elephant two years ago.

That show saw a 12-metre tall puppet pachyderm roam the city and became one of the most talked-about public spectacles of recent years.

French arts collective La Machine are keeping exact details of the Liverpool event a close secret but it has been in the planning for 18 months.

It is thought the insect will come down from its current position tomorrow and then 'wake up' on Friday before starting to explore the city.

Tens of thousands of visitors are expected in Liverpool over the three days to try and see the mechanical arachnid.

It has been billed as one of the highlights of the Capital of Culture celebrations and has cost £1.8 million.

The spider was built in Nantes, France, before being shipped to England and assembled in a top-secret location.

At 52 stories high (5+2=7), the number 7 World Trade Center building stands tall on the New York skyline.

The idea that such a huge skyscraper could disappear from view would seem to belong to the realm of high-tech magic tricks.

But that is exactly what happens when the light falls at a certain angle across its shiny, metal exterior - as shown by this amazing picture taken last week.

Its neighbouring brick skyscrapers stayed resolutely solid but 7 World Trade Center shimmered in the afternoon sun, taking it very close to vanishing completely.

The block stands next to Ground Zero where the Twin Towers collapsed after the September 11 attacks.

Its original building, constructed in 1987, was also razed as a result of the 9/11 terrorist catastrophe. [doesn't razed mean demolished?]

Debris falling from the nearby North Tower of the World Trade Center started fires on its own floors.

With little water to tackle them, they took hold and Number 7 also completely collapsed at 5.20pm [5+2=7, wake up fucktards, also it was called the Salomon Brothers building as in King Solomon and the Freemasonic brotherhood...] that day after a critical supporting column on its 13th floor buckled.

Construction on the new building, which has a slightly smaller footprint, began in 2002 and finished in 2006.

Designers were focused on safety throughout and gave it a reinforced concrete core, wider stairways and thicker fireproofing.

Firefighters can be seen battling the inferno which ripped through the home reducing it to a shell.

The shocking pictures, which illustrate the intensity of the blaze, were taken by firefighters from Shropshire Fire and Rescue service.

As they fought the flames at Osbaston House, crews were unaware that the murdered bodies of Foster, his wife Jill and 15-year-old daughter Kirstie had been engulfed.

The pictures of the fire were released a day after the first pictures from inside the ruined mansion were revealed.

Until then, the only pictures had been taken from a helicopter circling the scene.

The images revealed the utter devastation at the shattered remains of Osbaston House.

Reporters and camera crews escorted to the mansion by police were greeted by the sight of piles of blackened bricks and timber in skips at the front of the once-grand home.

Estimated to be worth around £1.2 million before it was destroyed by fire, the sprawling property now exhibits few signs that it was a family home just a week ago.

The burnt-out shell of a Range Rover and a tractor were still parked near the house.

The pictures also show the painstaking care being used by forensics officers as the comb the grounds for evidence to solve the mystery of what happened at Christopher Foster's house.

The windows, which gave the Foster family uninterrupted views of the surrounding fields, now allow those standing on the driveway to see birds resting on the chimney stack at the opposite end of the house and the open skies beyond.

Some of the home's wooden window frames had been obliterated by the blaze, while others, like the two satellite dishes, survived unmarked.

Numerous signs of the police inquiry were also in evidence all around the ruined home, which has seen its paddocks used as a dumping ground for some of the debris removed from the house.

Black plastic dustbins were stacked up near ornamental lampposts at the front of the house, apparently ready for use to collect remains which may help officers to piece together what happened.

Polythene coverings had also been placed over the letterbox and security system key-pad at the gates of the house in an apparent attempt to preserve evidence.

Three bodies have now been removed from the Shropshire house - that of Mr Foster's wife Jillian, 49, plus two more thought to be those of daughter Kirstie, 15, and Mr Foster himself.

Around half a dozen bunches of flowers have been left at the entrance to Osbaston House, including one paying tribute to 'Kirk', Jill and Chris.

A message attached to the bouquet read: 'I can't believe you are all gone. You were all such a great family and I'm going to miss you all.'

Another note, left by a neighbouring family, read: 'Tragic. So Sad. Heartfelt sympathy to your family. God Bless.'
